Andrea’s essay on British poet Peter Abbs will appear in the book British Writers edited by Jay Parini and published in both the US and UK by Pearson in 2012.

Andrea’s Pushcart Prize-winning essay-length memoir “The Hickey’s on Sally Palermo’s Neck” will be published in an individual volume by Welcome Table Press. Check Andrea’s website in late summer 2012 for information on this publication.

Andrea presented a tribute,“Stephen Dunn, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Ice Traveler,” at the annual conference of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference in Washington, DC, on February 5, 2011.

Andrea’s poem “Betrayal,” originally published in the literary journal Shenandoah, was featured on March 22, 2010, by former U. S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser in his syndicated and on-line column American Life in Poetry. To read Andrea’s poem, click here.
